All the important stuff (contemplating landscapes, contact with people, surprises, the pleasures and difficulties of the trail…) is up to you. Everything that’s incidental but necessary, you can leave to us:
We select the most suitable accommodation for you, always chosen according to its ideal location on the route, its warm welcome and its friendly service. We also value, of course, the availability of good, home-prepared cuisine based on regional dishes.
If you don’t want to carry your luggage with you, then no problem: we will arrange for it to be taken to your destination on each stage, so that you have everything you want at the end of an exciting day’s activity.
If you are coming from far afield and don’t want to bring your own bike, or you don’t have the ideal bike for the type of route you choose, you can hire an excellent mountain bike from us – aluminium frame, front suspension, 27 speeds, V-brakes and Shimano Deore components.
Our route guides combine the practicality of a photographic routometer with detailed cultural notes to ensure you have all the details at your fingertips. If technology is your thing and you want to be even more comfortable en route, we recommend you hire one of our GPS satellite navigation receivers, or that you download our GPS navigation files if you have your own unit.
This is the ideal option for people who want to share the experience of travel with like-minded souls, and who don't want to have to worry about any of the organisation. "Carpe Diem" could be the motto of our group tours. A full range of services will ensure your comfort, with all the excitement and adventure of riding and walking through villages, countryside and mountains. In any case, we always make our groups small (maximum 18 travellers).
On these tours we take care of everything: rural accommodation of the highest quality, home-cooked meals, transfers… And above all, we make sure you make the most of every kilometre of the journey.
2-3 professional guides (qualified in first aid, bike mechanics, orienteering, etc.) accompany all our groups, guiding and looking after each traveller, offering the advice of seasoned cyclists: how to warm up muscles, how to spread energy consumption over the course of the day, how to tackle more technical or demanding sections, and the best ways to eat and drink while cycling.
We will always give you full information about a route's difficulty. Nevertheless, there is no need to worry about your fitness too much. The bike is a wonderful excuse to get out into the country and there is no element of competition on our routes. We want each traveller to find his/her own, comfortable pace, with breath to spare for a chat, feeling good and alive in every way. If you do get tired, nevertheless, our support vehicle will be on hand. It will also be available with food and drinks if required, or to conduct any necessary bike repairs.
Any kind of extended physical activity requires periodical energy intake. There is nothing better than an improvised table out in the countryside to get to know each other and exchange stories. This is why we offer delicious en-route picnics on our group tours: rice or pasta, cold and preserved meats, omelettes, cakes, dried fruits and soft drinks.

So, don't spend too long thinking about it, get out there and travel with Otros Caminos. These are routes not to get lost on, but to get lost in… Your imagination is the only limit. Our routes are designed by us and come together to form a network of trails throughout Andalusia, to walk, ride, discover towns and villages, cross forests, explore coastlines, learn from local people share customs and traditions… but on different routes.
